The neighborhood's numerous parks, cafes, and community centers make it a desirable place for both families and young professionals, maintaining a perfect balance of tradition and contemporary living.

Katamon's uniqueness

It all lies in its harmonious blend of historical architecture and modern living, showcasing both elegant early 20th-century villas and contemporary apartments. Its diverse community, rich in cultural and religious heritage, contributes to a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood atmosphere.

Did you know?

Katamon, originally established as a neighborhood for affluent Christian Arab families in the early 20th century, became a significant battleground during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War? This turbulent period led to a dramatic shift in the area's demographics, with many of the original inhabitants fleeing and new Jewish immigrants moving in. The name "Katamon" is derived from the Greek "kata-monos," meaning "close to the monastery," referring to the nearby Monastery of St. Simeon.

Construction is set to commence imminently, with an expected completion timeline of 4.5 years. Remarkably, all apartments in the project have already been sold by the purchasing group. The site is adjacent to the NYX boutique hotel project by the Fatal Group, which is also under construction. The second phase of the development will feature two additional residential towers, approximately 270 apartments, commercial spaces, and another boutique hotel, pending the advanced approval process from the IBA.
